happiness is...
...finding you somehow picked the perfect color for your living area. I'm so excited to see this first coat going on today. It's the perfect subtle greeny blue. SW6211 Rainwashed. Picking paint color drives me super nutty, so it is nice when it works out.
It is also quite nice to be 'stuck' in my craft loft all day so I can stay out of their way as they paint. If I could just find my Canon battery charger I'd say it was a trifecta of happiness, but I'm still working on the charger part. Where is that dangety thing?

That color is so peaceful and elegant -- I adore it!
ReplyDeletePicking paint colors stresses me out too! But you did an amazing job...I love the color!
ReplyDeletePERFECT color! It is lovely!
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely! I actually just finished painting our bathroom almost this same color, inspired by some beautiful Amy Butler thread that I won a while back. You've got great taste ;).
ReplyDeleteLOVE the color! I might just have to paint my living room that color... what brand is it??
ReplyDeleteI agree with Shelly....beautiful, peaceful, elegant. It's very you! Just lovely. I know what you mean about stressing out over paint colors. You did great. Will you do my house next? (Just pick colors. I'll do the painting! LOL)
ReplyDeleteit looks great! we used the same color for our bedroom, and I'm pleased to say that I still love it, even after about 3 years!
ReplyDeleteI love the color! Your day sounds just like mine. . . toddler is at grandma and grandpa's and the new baby is here sleeping the day away while I craft and my husband paints and put new flooring in the family room. My kind of day!
ReplyDeleteThanks, y'all! I just go and stare at it for minutes at a time. I can't wait to put all the stuff back on the walls. After a liberal dusting of course. Yuck.
ReplyDeleteAmy J, it's Sherwin Williams.
Katie, naturally! :-) Great minds...
Mama Pea, just let me loose with a paint swatch book! Ha!
Jon and Jolie, can't get much better than that unless you have some hot coffee and some chocolate close at hand. Oh, and a good book. And some new shoes.
I quite like those duck egg shades too.
ReplyDeleteYour right, it is a definite form of happiness when you strike the right colour paint!
Great colour. Very fresh especially with the white trim.
ReplyDeleteI recently couldn't find my camera battery. I'd looked everywhere, and pretty much decided to get another one. Then I cleaned my scrap bucket on my sewing table. I don't know what, but something made me empty it on my table instead of tipping it straight into the bin. Thud! There it was! I have absolutely no idea how it got there!
pretty. pretty.
ReplyDeleteHow funny! I painted two rooms in my house the exact same color. It looks great with bold accents... I used yellow, orange and rust or red with it and it is just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteMrs D, that is a funny thing. I would no doubt blame my children if something like that happened to me. I have a happy ending too. My husband found the charger. In the camera bag. Imagine that.
ReplyDeleteSue! I know right? There doesn't seem to be any color it doesn't look good with. It's the perfect wall color! I'm loving pairing it with bright greens and yellows.
That is the EXACT color I'm wanting to paint my bathroom! It looks serene.
