I'm trying to wow you with a shot of the gravel saved by the surgeon from my husband's kidney surgery. But I'm probably just really grossing you out. It was actually one big stone but it had to be broken into these bits to get it out through the scope in my husband's poor back. It's amazing what they can do nowadays, isn't it? If you live in my area you can't go wrong with Dr. Scott Shelfo if you have a kidney stone the size of a VW bus. He's an awesome surgeon. Shout out to you, Doc Shelfo! (snapping fingers and pointing)

ReplyDeleteWhen I was pregnant with my first I passed two kidney stones about the size of a peppercorn and I thought I might DIE! It was torturous pain!
Your husband is a total rock star.
Oh my lord! You were right. They're indeed the size of Jupiter!! I cannot imagine the pain your poor hubby went though. Glad these stones are now out of his system.

I've heard that passing a stone is worse than childbirth, so your hubby has my sympathy. It is amazing what surgeons can do nowadays. I know you will be taking excellent care of the poor fellow. Best of luck and how nice of you to credit the surgeon.

HOLY GOODNESS. The poor man. My dad had a stone recently, 2 mm. He thought he was dying. Your hubby must be a man of steel.
