what I'm up to

My first experience sewing with double gauze. It's lovely. Whole lotta sewing for me going on up in here. I have a bunch of woven tanks to show you soon, all sewn from my stash. I just need some good light and some good hair.

Washi muslin! I'm on a roll. This pattern has been on my to do list for like ever. Now I'm ready to cut out the whole thing from real fabric (but cheap fabric, just in case).

  1. I loooove that double gauze. Jealous! ;) Did you work out all the kinks on the pattern? What fabric are you wanting to use for the Washi?

    1. I just found more of that nani iro fuccra on etsy and snapped it up. I was sad that I only had a yard of it for the tank, but I made it work by putting a seam in the back piece.

  2. I think you might be the first person I've seen make the Washi dress aside from Rae! Can't wait to see what comes of it, especially given that I love your color palettes. Maybe you could post it on Kollabora, the crafting community, so all of us looking for sundress inspiration can see your progress?
