rethinking
I was almost finished with the PDF pattern and samples for the two faced Gramma Wolfie doll, so that was the perfect time to have a creative crisis and redesign the style of the head(s). Now to tweak and redo the pattern and samples. Really for reals this time.

Well it looks fantastic. I hope the changes ended up turning out exactly how you envisioned.
ReplyDeleteYou really have a fabulous and special talent for designing dolls and animals.
ReplyDeleteWhen you have reconsidered the design of the heads, this wonderful grandmother and wolf pattern will be bought by me in no time. ;) It looks so exiting and fun to make.
I think that the most clever designers are the ones who care about the details, and rethink something in a pattern right before it is done. :O) That really shows commitment, love and skills for the final product. :))
This is lovely, love the face! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh dear, I agree with Ulla, she is right! After all the work is done you reconsider details and go for a change! This is commitment.
ReplyDeleteSending warm wishes to you,
Nina
i am still patiently waiting! ;)
ReplyDeleteabsolutely love this doll! looking forward the the pattern!!!
ReplyDeleteLoved the first version, love the second one. Can't wait to see it all done!
ReplyDeleteAaaaarrrrggghhhhh!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Ulla! That made me feel a whole lot better as I was grumbling and cutting out yet another doll after having to go to the store to purchase more materials. Sometimes attention to detail can be a huge pain. ha!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much to everyone for your positive and encouraging comments, and also for your sympathetic 'argh'ing. :-) I think I'm on the right path now, at least.
