Today I'd like to dedicate this space to remembering the events of 9-11-01. It's been ten years, but it is not forgotten. I remember exactly what I was doing when my father-in-law called me and told me to turn on the television. I remember that the UPS delivery man and I sat on my couch watching in horror.

Today, remember those that lost their lives to senseless acts of terrorism, and those who willingly gave their lives to try and save them. May God bless their families. May God bless America.

  1. God bless... We never had such a big hurtful event here in my country, but we have day by day violence... It's really scary. =(

    hugs to you, Larissa

  2. Even our little rural town was impacted that day. One of my husband's high school classmates worked at the Pentagon and was killed. She is, indeed, being remembered... along with all the others.

My mind will never lose those images I saw on TV.

  3. My dear friends, The Willets, lost their only son, John, in the North Tower that day. It is an honor to John and all those who perished to remember. Thanks for posting, Larissa.
