and here's the follow through
To this. I bought it at Target in their closet organizing section, and I'm really happy with it. No more felt being trampled underfoot or piled in corners and laundry baskets, where I can't see what I have. The smaller scraps that I couldn't bear to throw away got squirreled away in an old coke bottle crate which sits on top of the organizer. There are cubby holes left empty, so clearly that indicates I need to buy more felt. Yes.
Try to ignore the beige walls, the clutter, the dust and the very non-craft-bloggy look of my crafting studio. One day I will have a prettied up space to create in. Not today.

Oh my aching back! What an amazing amount of felt! I love all of the colors that you have...beautiful. Isn't it wonderful to get some organization? I finally got a little organization for my crafting stuff so now my projects are not all shoved in Walmart sacks. Yay! Your wall 'o felt looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteOkay, now you need to remind us where you bought all of that wonderful felt, since I know you shopped around. Yay for getting organized!
ReplyDeleteI love felt, it is definitely one of my favourite things to work with! As a matter of fact, I just made a little felt chick last night that will be part of an Easter present. Awesome job with the organizing; I wish I was that organized!
ReplyDeleteYou've got a serious stash of felt - I'm jealous!
ReplyDeleteOoh I'm so jealous of all thet felt! :) Also, I really love the awake bunnies, adorable!
ReplyDeleteRobyn,
ReplyDeletesome of it is craft felt that I bought at Hobby Lobby and Joann, but all the wool blend felt was purchased at:
Prairie Point Junction or
J Caroline Designs
both great sources. There are more sources I haven't checked out yet, like felt-o-rama and Every Child's Dream
Oh, I love your organizer!!
ReplyDeleteI have the felt problem too, still looking for a way to organize it better...
Kisses from Brazil, Larissa!
