We are still mostly in voluntary isolation, but trying to venture out a bit more with masks, hand santizer, our God-given good sense, and a love for our fellow man.
I'm working hard on Mr. Scrooge, the first pattern in my Ebenezer Ornament Series. The pattern is mostly written and is now in the revision/editing stage. I'm sewing up samples and working on choosing color palettes. Too. Many. Colors. Then will come the real photos.
I'm planning once again to work with Benzie Design to offer color bundles and kits to go alongside my patterns and color guides. Thank you, wonderful Benzie folks! :-)
Remote hugs to all of you! #stupidvirus
So pretty! I just love how you're progressing with the pattern!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! :-)
DeleteHe really is the perfect Scrooge. I'm loving the muted colours, his facial expression, his skin-tone legs and those slippers! I'll admit I wasn't totally sold on the pink prototype version, but I've fallen for these ones for sure! We have a lot to look forward to this year!
ReplyDeletehaha! Yeah, you know I am drawn to brights but this guy needed some dark and muted colors. I'm still going to do some in a brighter palette because that's how I roll! Thanks so much!
DeleteI really like Scrooge, it's going to be a great pattern. Hugs to you as well from south Alabama!!
ReplyDeleteHey hey hey to S AL! Hugs to you too! Thanks so much.
DeleteI am so eager to get these patterns! Love all your work. Making my second set of Mr and Mrs Claus . . .
ReplyDeletePatty, thanks so much! I'm so happy to hear that you are enjoying them! Makes my day. :-)
Deletesuch fun!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Susan!
DeleteSo sorry to read about your sore back. I hope you are rested and feeling better.
ReplyDeleteMr. Scrooge has turned out really awesome. His face is very expressive and love the felt colors for his coat and embellishments.
Thank you for giving us something to look forward to, it will take our minds off of the crisis around us.
Hey, Lalita! It's coming along. Not as bad as it was, but a ways to go. Thanks so much! Yes, the more distracted we are from the headlines, the better. :-)
DeleteLarissa, I love your designs and your instructions are very clear and easy to follow! I made five sets of The Twelve Days of Christmas ornaments in 2019, one set for each of my children and one for my husband and me. Currently, I am making another set of the 12 Days for a wedding present. Yesterday I ordered the Mr. and Mrs. Clause patterns. They will make great gifts for friends without the time investment of the complete set of 12 Days.
ReplyDeleteWowee, I'm so impressed with all of the ones you have made. What a SPECIAL wedding present! Ironically, I still do not have a complete set, nor do my kids. LOL. Thanks so much for your support! I hope you enjoy the 'Twas the Night series too. :-)
DeleteDie Figuren sind total echt geworden finde ich, man kann sofort erkennen wer es sein soll.Hast du das mit Dosiernadeln gemacht oder wie ?Grüße Eileen
ReplyDeleteHello, Eileen, danke! Google did not do a wonderful job of translating "Dosiernadeln" so I'm not sure what type of needle that might be. It's done with wool felt and embroidery needles. I hope that helps! :-)
