I hope this was helpful! These color guides can be followed exactly, but feel free to vary the choices to match your tastes and make your own unique combos. The way I've combined the Benzie Victorian and Modern Pastel felt colors are just a few of the possibilities! I'd love to see what you make. :-) #ebenezerornamentseries

  2. Your instructions are super thorough, easy to follow and a total delight to read! Any helpful hints about working with the Sulky stabilizer on the dark-colored felts? It's kinda tough to see the embroidery pattern(s) once the stabilizer is applied (especially on navy felt). Have you ever traced over the pattern with a white gel pen, and do you think it would affect the dissolving properties of the stabilizer?

    1. Thanks so much, I'm delighted you are enjoying it! Yes, dark felts can make the lines a little dim. I don't see why you can't use a permanent pen to darken or lighten the lines as long as it's not water soluble? I don't think it would affect the dissolve in water, but to be sure test it on a small piece first and soak it off. :-)
